Balazs Bognar Several decades on, Surgeon continues to make beautiful, raw art, never the same in idea but always consistent in quality and mood. This may be a successor to his earlier Counterbalance EPs, or the Force + Form album in 1999, but with more intuitive textures, maybe more concise, too. The Golden Sea is a tremendous statement.
